The countdown is on! The 2025 CrossFit Open begins in just 17 days, and we now have official details on where the 25.1 live announcement will take place—and which athletes will be the first to tackle the workout.
CrossFit Mayhem will host the first Open workout of the season, broadcasting live from Cookeville, Tennessee. As the workout is revealed, three (possibly four?) CrossFit Games veterans and Mayhem athletes will take on 25.1 in front of a global audience.

Austin Hatfield, Roman Khrennikov, and Haley Adams have been confirmed as the first athletes to take on 25.1. But CrossFit’s Instagram announcement hinted at a “special guest.”
