What is Open 25.1?

Open 25.1 marks the first event of the CrossFit Open 2025, featuring a 15-minute AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible) workout that includes:

  • 3 lateral burpees over the dumbbell

  • 3 hang clean-to-overheads with a dumbbell (35 lb / 15 kg or 50 lb / 22.5 kg)

  • 30 feet of walking lunges (2 x 15 feet)

With each completed round, you’ll add three additional reps to the burpees and hang clean-to-overheads, making the challenge progressively harder.

How to Sign Up

To compete in Open 25.1, register on the official CrossFit website before the deadline. Ensure you have an active account at games.crossfit.com, where you’ll submit your scores after completing the WOD.

Tips for a Strong Performance

Pace yourself wisely – Don’t start too fast; conserve energy for later rounds as the rep count increases.
Minimize breaks – Avoid dropping the dumbbell unnecessarily; switch hands smoothly to maintain momentum.
Quick transitions – Walking lunges require no additional weight, so move efficiently and keep your upper body relaxed.
